This is critical for any individual planning to take a leap into online affiliate business or is already in the place to understand and choose as to what business model should he or she take and why?

This is going to be a long article, so grab a cup of your favourite drink and enjoy reading.

I have had so many people reaching out to me in last few weeks asking me β€” β€œIf I can help them” and that β€œThey haven’t had any single sale yet” and when I ask what are they promoting its either a low ticket or multi-low ticket offer and they are struggling with How to Sell, Traffic, Competition, Losing Money and Time that they dont have.

Not that I am a guru by any means, but I have had my fair share of burnings, earnings, failures and wins, and have understood something very clearly and has made logical sense to me, and that clarity is driving my results today and for many others in my community.

This post is my observation and understanding, and some people may not like it, but I am going to say it anyway ;) and if this could save some souls, then it’s worth every word.

Let’s Look at both High & Ticket, and Low Ticket Offers more closely and Some essential factors which will clarify why one would work better than others.

Pricing :

The first prominent difference people see is the price point. And that’s the number one reason why people choose low ticket offers.Because their initial investment is low, but they dont realise the return is also short per sale.

There is so much more than what meet the eyes.

Let’s do a simple maths if your financial goal is to earn 5000$ a month.

And you are selling a low ticket offer giving you 100$ commission.

You will have to sell 50 of those in a month to get to 5K a month.

With a High Ticket where your commissions are 1000$ or more, you will have to sell 5 to get to your 5K a month, what is more, logical?

Easier To Sell:

Now that is a hell of perception people have. Let’s get this right β€” money is money, Value is Value. If the product has lower cost does not mean people are waiting just to give out money because it cost less, they still want the best value out of their investment and the best quality possible.

If we go to understand the value part better, you know what Perceived Value is, it is a customer’s own perception of a product or service’s merit or desirability to them, especially in comparison to competitor’s product.

Generally, the way the human brain works is more the cost of the product, better the value and better the quality. You don’t necessarily have to convince them.Whereas when a product cost is low, one will always look at the quality of that product or service, that’s the ground reality.

Think about your own daily buying process- When you go to buy Milk, Eggs or Vegetables, what’s your thought? Higher the price better, organic and all that.

When buying a Mobile phone, a Computer or a Car, what is your thought process? I dont have to spell that out here now, you know it already.Which technically mean you need more convincing when selling a lower ticket product as compared to a higher ticket.

As one who considers the higher ticket understand the value and quality will be better.

Value & Quality:

This naturally brings me to one of the most essential parts of the product, either physical or digital. What is the value that product offers and is it high quality? Now I would not say all, but my common sense and experience have almost always seen that High ticket offers are generally of very high quality.

At least the one that I work with is super quality, and the value it delivers is priceless.

Now I dont have the same experience with low ticket offers, and I have been a fool of a customer to have invested in getting a sub-quality piece of junk many times to now finally realise the concept of Value and Price.I have invested and bought low ticket offers and have burnt more than a few times to realise the value of high ticket offers.

Any product, you are serious about promoting and attaching your name and reputation to should probably be something you have some type of experience with, and you believe to be a worthwhile product.

I would be very cautious of promoting and recommending products online to make a quick buck that you wouldn’t otherwise legitimately recommend, otherwise you run the risk of ruining your credibility and hurting your brand long-term.

Commission or Payout Percentage:

Generally, low ticket offers will have a lower commission rate. Some people provide a higher commission, and they are usually able to do so because what they are selling is only front end offers with a lower-price tag to attract the customer.

But if you want to take the full value of what you saw on ads or video, then you have to go further investing in them. Now for me, it is unethical. Some offers have value ladders(google it if you dont know), and they clearly mention what you get when you pay, and you get more when you spend more this is clear cut.

And that’s where people also mix high ticket and a low ticket to build offers, but it’s done ethically right. For Eg: when you buy a car you know the base price is for the standard edition, and as you scale up, you get better speakers, interiors and colours, car seats, additional services and so on, a straight forward upgrade path.

Marketing:

With the low ticket, your earning are low per sale and would not be feasible to run paid marketing, and if you go organic 1–1 its would need some serious work and hours as you need to touch like 500 or prospects β€” to get 50 sales to make 5000$.

With High Ticket, you can afford paid marketing if you want to scale fast, or go organic 1–1 personal without any additional investment and build a tribe for life.

Building a Tribe/List/Customer base:

When you go out selling, and recommending a product to others, that you won’t buy your self, what do you imagine your customer will think about you. What would happen to your credibility and brand?

I know some people tell me β€œI dont care about my brand or credibility, I just need money right now.”

Which is okay if that’s what you think, but if you dig a little deeper you may get money in the short term, putting your name and credibility online but the gratification will be shortlived as those customers will never be your clients, they will never buy from you again for apparent reason.

You clearly are not building a long term business. When will this have an impact, when markets are down, and the economy goes low and crash out which happens quite often lately.

You will run dry as you dont have a trusted customer base or tribe. You dont have a business, what you have is a get rich scheme for your-self which won’t work now as people are more careful where they invest.

But when you suggest high-quality products with high value, your customers love you. You have actually solved their problem, and they appreciate that and that build trust and respect. You now have set of clients, who are part of your tribe and they will be ready to invest into anything that you suggest as they now know you are a person of trust and always providing value and care for them.

I made my first 1000$ in 28 days of starting into affiliate business, so timing is not the problem, its how you run your business. You are passionate to impact lives positively and help people solve a problem, not in the process of filling your pockets anyhow. Follow your passion and money will follow.

Remember People Buy People, not Products.

Like Simone, Sinek says β€” β€œPeople don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it.”

Multiple Products Offerings:

When you do a High ticket, you dont have to have many products to reach your goals as the payout is high enough.

With Low ticket, I have seen people combining multiple offers to earn multi-stream income. It is tough to work with multi-product as you need be really good at each product, they need to complement each other in some or many ways, and the quality has to be fair, or your overall chain falls down.

Imagine talking to 100 people about different products, and how do you promote them? As whoever looks at your profile will be confused about what you are selling. So you will face intense competition and price war.And guess what you will always be short on new Traffic or Leads! Feel like you.

Refunds, Compliance- GDPR, Spammer Tag.

I can add 10 more to this list, but let go with these common once. The low-quality product will have refunds due to obvious reasons, so you ain’t getting that money. And some vendors dont have necessary refund structures in place which is even crazier, and the brings out the fact that they dont believe in their products themselves.

With the low ticket you touch so many prospects in the desperation of reaching your goal, you break general compliance and land up spamming people with links knowingly or unknowingly.Sharing their details to other vendors without permission, one of many crimes you commit.

I could write more, but I guess you get the point by now.

New Bee Vs Expert

People are making big money with low ticket product sales on click bank, JV, Warrior and so on but what most dont realise is, they have been in the business for very long and are expert in selling and promotion.

They have more than one business to support this business which works as a complementing side business. Are you an Expert then you would not be reading this post as you know all this already. But if you are reading this, then you are either beginner or are burning and failing as I did.

It needs tons of experience, skill to learn how to make a low ticket and multi-low ticket offer work. Some may raise an objection to this point and say β€” one can always do DFY β€” Done For You Offers.

That DFY low ticket offers that promises you get rich overnight… Do I need to even tell you that it is a big lie or everyone on this earth would have been rich by now? And I would be in Cuba sipping malibu.Or you want to spend the time & money you dont have trying to meet your income goals selling low ticket products and then eventually giving up because it too hard and did not work.

I would strongly urge anyone reading this to consider investing your time and money into learning the skills required to sell things online. Pick a High Ticket Offer and get closer to your goals.
